lower limb
Knee and below
The lower limb is the leg—the entire structure from hip to toes, including thigh, knee, lower leg, ankle, and foot.
The term is anatomical and clinical, used in medicine and biology to distinguish from the upper limb (arm): The patient has limited mobility in the lower limbs.
In casual speech, people say leg instead.
