lions mane
Shaggy medicinal mushroom
Lion's mane is a large, shaggy white mushroom that grows on hardwood trees, named for its resemblance to the mane of a lion.
It's prized both as a culinary delicacy and as a supplement believed to support brain health and cognitive function: I've been taking lion's mane for focus.
Also called bearded tooth or pom-pom mushroom.
