let's plays
Narrated gameplay videos
Let's plays are videos or livestreams in which someone plays through a video game while providing commentary.
The format emerged on YouTube and Twitch, turning gameplay into entertainment through the player's reactions, humor, or skill.
A let's play may be edited highlights or a complete uncut playthrough: I watched a let's play of the new Zelda before deciding to buy it.
