capture card
Video recording device
A capture card is a device that records or streams video from external sources—game consoles, cameras, or other computers—by converting the video signal into digital data your computer can process.
Essential equipment for streamers and content creators who want to record gameplay or broadcast live: I need a capture card to stream my PlayStation on Twitch.
