leglocks
Grappling lower limbs
Leglocks are submission holds in grappling martial arts that hyperextend or twist the leg joints—knee, ankle, or hip—to force an opponent to tap out.
Common in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, judo, and mixed martial arts: He caught me in a leglock and I had to tap.
Types include the heel hook, kneebar, and ankle lock.
