anklelock
Leg submission hold
An anklelock is a submission hold in wrestling and martial arts that hyperextends or twists the ankle joint, forcing an opponent to tap out or risk injury.
The attacker typically controls the leg while applying pressure against the natural range of motion: He caught him in a tight anklelock and wouldn't let go.
