left-clicking
Default pointer activation
Left-clicking is pressing the left button on a computer mouse, typically to select items, activate links, or confirm actions.
It's the default click—when instructions say simply "click," they mean left-click.
Left-click the icon to open the program.
Double-clicking, clicking twice in quick succession, is also done with the left button.
