lackey
Obsequious yes-man
A lackey is a servant, especially one in uniform who attends a person of high status.
The term now mostly appears as an insult for someone who follows orders obsequiously or does another's bidding without question: He's just a lackey for the party leadership.
The word suggests someone who has surrendered dignity for the sake of pleasing a powerful figure.
