kinlessness
Without any family
Kinlessness is the state of having no family or relatives—being without kin.
The word describes both literal absence of blood relations and the felt experience of having no family connections: The kinlessness of orphans in wartime, a profound sense of kinlessness after her last sibling died.
It can also describe social isolation more broadly, suggesting a lack of belonging or tribal connection.
