kicktail
Skateboard's raised end
A kicktail is the upturned rear end of a skateboard, used for tricks like ollies and pivots.
The angled lip lets riders pop the board off the ground by pressing down with the back foot.
Most modern skateboards have both a kicktail and a raised nose, though the tail is typically steeper: He stomped on the kicktail and flipped the board.
