kegging

Filling metal barrels

Kegging is the process of transferring beer or other beverages into kegs, typically after fermentation is complete.

Homebrewers and craft breweries keg their beer as an alternative to bottling: I spent Saturday afternoon kegging the pale ale.

The term also appears in British slang for the prank of pulling down someone's trousers: He got kegged in the locker room.
