Charity running event
A jogathon is a fundraising event where participants collect pledges based on the distance they jog or the laps they complete.
Common in schools, the format combines exercise with charity: The elementary school's annual jogathon raised money for new playground equipment.
Similar to walkathons and bikeathons, but at a jogging pace.
