jelly rolls

Rolled sponge desserts

Jelly rolls are a dessert made by spreading jelly or jam on thin sponge cake, then rolling it into a spiral: She dusted powdered sugar over the jelly roll.

The term extends to anything with a similar spiral form.

In jazz, jelly roll is slang for sex or genitalia, famously in the stage name of pianist Jelly Roll Morton.
