muffin top
Belt-line bulge effect
Muffin top is the roll of flesh that spills over the waistband of tight pants, resembling the way a muffin bulges over its paper liner: Those jeans give me a muffin top.
The term is mildly derisive, typically describing the effect of low-rise pants on a soft midsection.
