infinity mirror
Recursive reflection illusion
An infinity mirror is a pair of parallel mirrors—one fully reflective, one partially transparent—that create the illusion of endless depth.
Light bounces between them, producing repeating reflections that appear to recede into infinite distance.
The effect appears in art installations, home décor, and LED displays: The elevator had infinity mirrors on opposite walls.
