Solid surface is a manufactured countertop material made from acrylic or polyester resins, typically seamless and nonporous.
Unlike natural stone, solid surface can be shaped, joined invisibly, and repaired if scratched: We chose solid surface for the kitchen because it's easier to maintain than granite.
Corian is the best-known brand name.
