light painting
Camera captures movement
Light painting is a photographic technique where moving light sources create streaks and patterns during a long exposure.
The photographer or an assistant moves flashlights, sparklers, or other lights through the frame while the shutter stays open, essentially drawing with light: She used light painting to write her name in the night sky.
The term also covers illuminating specific parts of a dark scene with brief bursts of light.
