Sikh worship places
Gurudwaras are Sikh places of worship, serving as temples where the community gathers for prayer, religious ceremonies, and communal meals.
The term comes from Punjabi, meaning "door to the guru." Every gurudwara houses a copy of the Guru Granth Sahib, the central Sikh scripture, and typically includes a langar hall where free meals are served to all visitors regardless of faith or background.
