Rehat Maryada
Rehat Maryada is the Sikh code of conduct, a set of guidelines governing religious practice, daily life, and moral behavior for baptized Sikhs.
Issued by the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee in 1950, it covers everything from prayer routines to prohibitions against cutting hair and using intoxicants.
The Rehat Maryada outlines how Sikhs should conduct themselves at gurdwara services.
