Farro and greens
A grain salad is a cold dish built around cooked whole grains—quinoa, farro, bulgur, barley, or similar—mixed with vegetables, herbs, and dressing.
Unlike leafy salads, grain salads are hearty and filling, often served as a main course: I brought a farro grain salad with roasted vegetables to the potluck.
They keep well, making them popular for meal prep.
