glass panes
See-through building panels
Glass panes are flat sheets of glass fitted into windows, doors, or frames.
A single window may contain one pane or multiple panes separated by muntins: The old farmhouse had twelve-pane windows.
Pane alone usually means glass pane, making the full phrase somewhat redundant except when emphasizing the material: We replaced the broken glass panes with plexiglass.
