glass bottom boats
See-through floor craft
Glass bottom boats are watercraft with transparent viewing panels in their hulls, allowing passengers to observe underwater life without getting wet.
Popular for tourism in areas with coral reefs or clear water: We took a glass bottom boat tour over the reef.
The design dates to the late 19th century.
