gaming streams
Watched others play
Gaming streams are live video broadcasts where viewers watch someone play video games in real time, typically on platforms like Twitch or YouTube.
The streamer often provides commentary, interacts with viewers through chat, and may display a webcam feed alongside the gameplay.
Streams can be casual entertainment, competitive esports, or promotional events: I spent all weekend watching gaming streams.
The format has created a new category of internet celebrity—streamers who earn income through subscriptions, donations, and sponsorships.
