gameboards
Flat strategy arenas
Gameboards are the flat surfaces on which board games are played, typically marked with patterns, paths, or grids that define movement and play areas.
Chess uses a checkered gameboard; Monopoly uses one with properties arranged around a square path.
The design of a gameboard shapes the entire experience of a game.
