fursuit
Wearable animal persona
A fursuit is a costume depicting an anthropomorphic animal character, typically worn by members of the furry fandom.
Fursuits range from partial outfits—head, tail, paws—to full-body costumes with elaborate features.
Wearers often adopt personas matching their characters: She debuted her new fursuit at the convention.
The suits can be expensive custom commissions, sometimes costing thousands of dollars.
