fuel tanker
Petroleum transport vehicle
A fuel tanker is a vehicle designed to transport large quantities of liquid fuel.
On roads, fuel tankers are the familiar cylindrical trucks that deliver gasoline to filling stations.
At sea, fuel tankers are ships that carry crude oil or refined petroleum products between ports.
The term also applies to aircraft that refuel other planes mid-flight: The bomber rendezvoused with a fuel tanker over the Atlantic.
