Colorless mist arc
A fogbow is a faint, white or slightly colored arc that forms in fog, similar to a rainbow but produced by much smaller water droplets.
Because fog droplets are too tiny to separate light into distinct colors, fogbows appear pale and ghostly: We spotted a fogbow hovering over the field at dawn.
Also called a white rainbow or ghost rainbow.
