flat head
Simple screw driver
Flat head describes a head shape that is flattened, whether naturally, deliberately, or pathologically.
In infants, flat head (plagiocephaly) results from prolonged pressure on one area of the soft skull.
Historically, some cultures practiced deliberate cranial flattening.
Flat head also describes screw heads with a flat top designed to sit flush with a surface. (Capitalized Flathead refers to certain Native American peoples of Montana.)
