tummy time
Infant floor exercise
Tummy time is the practice of placing an infant face-down on a flat surface while awake and supervised.
Pediatricians recommend it to strengthen neck, shoulder, and arm muscles, and to prevent flat spots on the back of the head from too much time lying supine: We do tummy time for fifteen minutes after each feeding.
