coronal suture
Frontal-parietal bone junction
The coronal suture is the fibrous joint that runs across the top of the skull, connecting the frontal bone to the two parietal bones.
It forms a line roughly from ear to ear over the crown of the head.
In infants, the suture remains flexible to allow brain growth; it gradually fuses during adulthood.
