Phillips

Cruciform screw variety

Phillips is a type of screw or screwdriver with a cross-shaped head, named after businessman Henry Phillips who popularized the design in the 1930s.

The crossed slots allow more torque than a single slot: You'll need a Phillips head for those screws.

Phillips is also a common surname and brand name.
