evangelic

Zealously spreading faith

Evangelic means relating to the Christian gospel or its teachings, or characterized by zealous advocacy of a cause.

The word is largely interchangeable with evangelical, though less common.

An evangelic message emphasizes salvation through faith; an evangelic fervor for reform suggests passionate, almost missionary dedication to spreading one's beliefs.
