envision
See in mind
Envision means to form a mental picture of something, especially something that doesn't yet exist or that you hope to bring about.
It's the verb of choice when describing imaginative planning or forward-looking thought: She envisioned a future where everyone had access to clean water.
Unlike simply imagining, envision often carries a sense of purpose or intention—you envision outcomes you're working toward, not just idle fantasies.
