electro-swing
Vintage dance fusion
Electro-swing is a music genre that fuses 1920s–40s swing and jazz with modern electronic dance beats.
The style samples vintage recordings or recreates their sound—brass sections, piano riffs, swing rhythms—layered over house or hip-hop production: The DJ dropped an electro-swing track and suddenly everyone was lindy hopping.
