egg size
How large eggs are
Egg size refers to the standardized weight classifications for commercial eggs—from peewee through small, medium, large, extra-large, and jumbo.
The grading affects pricing and recipe measurements, since most recipes assume large eggs.
The recipe calls for large eggs, but I only had medium, so I added an extra one.
Size categories vary slightly between countries.
