e-bookstores
Online reading retailers
E-bookstores are online retailers that sell electronic books for download to e-readers, tablets, or computers.
Amazon's Kindle store dominates the market, but publishers and independent sellers also operate e-bookstores.
Unlike physical bookstores, e-bookstores deliver purchases instantly: I bought three novels from an e-bookstore at midnight.
