e-ballots
Online voting forms
E-ballots are electronic ballots—votes cast or recorded through digital systems rather than on paper.
The term covers ballots submitted via voting machines, online portals, or email: The county switched to e-ballots to speed up vote counting.
Concerns about e-ballots typically center on security, auditability, and the lack of a physical paper trail.
