dollmakers
Miniature figure creators
Dollmakers are people who create dolls, whether as craftspeople, hobbyists, or manufacturers.
The term covers a range from artisans handcrafting porcelain figures to factory workers assembling mass-produced toys: The dollmakers of rural Appalachia kept traditional techniques alive.
A dollmaker may also refer to a company in the business: The German dollmaker has produced collectibles since 1890.
