dexter
Bearer's right side
Dexter means on the right side, or right-handed.
In heraldry, the dexter side of a coat of arms is the right side from the shield-bearer's perspective—the left side as you look at it.
The word is formal or technical; most contexts simply use right.
The opposite is sinister, meaning left.
