Dexter Morgan

Dexter Morgan is the fictional protagonist of Jeff Lindsay's novel series and the television adaptation *Dexter* (2006–2013).

A Miami blood-spatter analyst who moonlights as a serial killer, he targets murderers who escape justice—following a moral code instilled by his adoptive father.

The character has become a cultural reference point for the antihero who channels dark impulses toward arguably justifiable ends: He's got real Dexter Morgan energy.
