Combing aid spray
A detangler is a product—usually a spray or cream—applied to hair to make it easier to comb through.
Detanglers coat the hair shaft, reducing friction and allowing knots to slip apart: I can't brush my daughter's hair without detangler.
The term extends to any tool or substance that separates tangled things.
