denaturalized
Lost national status
Denaturalized describes someone who has been stripped of their citizenship, typically by government action.
A person may be denaturalized for fraud in the original naturalization process, for serving in a foreign military, or for certain criminal convictions.
The term also applies more broadly to anything that has been made unnatural or had its natural qualities removed.
He was denaturalized after authorities discovered he had lied on his citizenship application.
