decimator
One who devastates
A decimator is someone or something that destroys a large portion of a population or group.
The word comes from the Roman military practice of killing one in ten soldiers as punishment, but modern usage has shifted toward massive destruction rather than precise fractions: The plague was a decimator of medieval Europe.
In audio engineering, a decimator is a device or algorithm that reduces a signal's sample rate.
