datetime
When something happens
Datetime is a programming and computing term for a data type that combines date and calendar information with time of day: The datetime field stores when each record was created.
Most programming languages and databases have datetime formats for timestamps, scheduling, and time-based calculations.
Often written as two words (date time) or hyphenated (date-time) outside technical contexts.
