atemporal

Outside time's flow

Atemporal means existing outside of time or without reference to time.

Something atemporal is not bound by temporal sequence—it has no before or after, no beginning or end.

The concept appears in philosophy, theology, and physics: God is sometimes conceived as atemporal, existing beyond the flow of time.

Mathematical truths are often considered atemporal—2+2=4 wasn't true yesterday and won't be true tomorrow; it simply is true, timelessly.
