never

At no time

Never is a negating word like no, not, and nor.

It is equivalent to not ever.

It is often required in negative statements about events in time, and may apply to all time, or only to all time before the present moment: Spike never barks at strangers. I’ve never visited the Prado museum.

In statements about the past never is often used with a perfect tense.
