cyclone season
Annual hurricane months
Cyclone season is the period of the year when tropical cyclones are most likely to form in a particular ocean basin.
The timing varies by region—roughly June through November in the Atlantic, May through November in the Eastern Pacific.
In regions where these storms are called hurricanes or typhoons, the equivalent terms are hurricane season and typhoon season.
