Dedicated cycling lane
A cycleway is a path or road designated specifically for bicycles, separated from motor vehicle traffic and often from pedestrians as well.
The term is more common in British English than American English, where bike path or bike lane are preferred.
Cycleways may run alongside roads, through parks, or follow their own dedicated routes.
The new cycleway connects the university to the town center.
