curl-ups

Floor core workout

Curl-ups are an abdominal exercise where you lie on your back with knees bent and curl your upper body toward your knees, then lower back down.

The term is used interchangeably with crunches and sit-ups, though fitness instructors sometimes distinguish them: curl-ups typically involve less range of motion than full sit-ups.

We did fifty curl-ups in gym class.
