crashland
Land without control
To crashland is to bring an aircraft down in an emergency, typically without landing gear or on unsuitable terrain.
The term implies damage to the aircraft but survival of the occupants: The pilot crashlanded in a field after the engine failed.
Figuratively, to crashland is to arrive or end up somewhere abruptly and ungracefully: I crashlanded on my friend's couch after the party.
